Adoption
  Special Needs

Children born with special needs are at the highest risk of abuse, neglect and languishing in orphanages and mental institutions around the world. Most of these orphanages have limited funds and few caregivers.

In most cases, if children born with down syndrome in foreign countries are not adopted by the young age of four then they are sent to live in an institution for the rest of their lives. The rest of their lives from the age of four!!! That is a miserable way to live!.

Unfortunately 95% of the children born with special needs in foreign countries die. 95% that means that only 5% are getting adopted and given a life, the rest are wasting away in institutions and dying.

Fortunately there are families who would like to adopt a child with special needs if they had the money. Room for One More adoption grants can help make the cost of adopting these precious children more affordable.

If you are considering the international adoption of a child with Down Syndrome or other special needs, please go to reesesrainbow.org and spence-chapin.org. You can also search for children waiting to be adopted at adoptuskids.org.
